For UK market traders, stallholders & small shops
A website made on the water. One fixed price. One person to talk to.
I build and look after websites for sole traders ashore, and I live and work aboard a narrowboat. The price is agreed before I start, it's the price you pay, and there's no lock-in — you deal with me, every time.
Fixed prices · No lock-in · No VAT added at these prices
The prices, right here
Fixed prices, agreed before I start. No quotes to wait for, no surprise invoices — and no VAT is added at these prices.
Market Stall
£395
A one-page site that says what you sell, where you are and how to reach you — with your market calendar and WhatsApp front and centre.
Shopfront
£995
Five to seven pages for a shop with more to show: stock and services, opening hours, a gallery, reviews.
Sell Online
£1,595
A shop built in my workshop, not rented off a big platform: up to 30 products on the shelves, card payments straight into your Stripe account, an hour's training so you can work it yourself — and no platform fees.
Care plans — £29, £59 or £109 a month. Every build includes 3 months of Essential care free. After that, a care plan keeps the site fast, safe and up to date — hosting included, a report and a call every month, cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
No VAT is added at these prices.
What dealing with me looks like
- Exact prices on this page. The number you see is the number you pay.
- One named human. You'll deal with me, every time — for as long as your site exists.
- No lock-in. Plans are monthly and you can cancel any time with 30 days' notice.
- A plain-English report every month, even when nothing needed doing — and a phone call to go with it.
- Built to work properly on the phones your customers actually use.
Proof, not promises
I've just opened for business, so there are no customer stories on this site yet — and there will never be invented ones. The first ten builds go out at launch prices in exchange for a short testimonial and before/after screenshots. As each one ships, its story goes up on the Work page: the Facebook page before, the site after, in the owner's own words.
Already got a site that's become a mystery?
A £99 takeover audit recovers your access, checks security and updates, and reviews your hosting and speed. You get a one-page traffic-light report and a recommendation — and the £99 is refunded in full against any care plan or a build of £500 or more.
How the audit works.Slow travel, fast replies
The boat is how I work: unhurried craft, clear prices, and reply times I publish and keep to. If you want to know who's actually going to build your site — and where they'll be building it — that's all on the About page.
Talk to me
The form is quickest — it comes straight to my inbox. If I'm steering, it lands all the same, and I reply to new enquiries within one working day.
